I just bought a new "old stock" of golden fleece, I was able to follow all the instructions and made it to the end but but as soon as I do the final spin move, both parts flew apart. Can anybody share the fix that I believe Hideo Kato provided to Richard Kaufman and it is in the Tenyoism book?
I cannot afford the book, so that it is not a solution at this time.
Thank you

Put some Scotch Tape around the inside of the outer ring.

Re: Golden Fleece question
Thank you Richard!, I thought about it but I was concern with all the moveable parts. This trick is an engineering feast, (maybe all Tenyos are), but also is very visual. I need to improve the misdirection while doing the rotating move.
BTW your solution of using a handkerchief is not a bad either, I was also thinkinking to keep the circle covered by my hands and let the spectators pull from the yarn. Will see
Thank you for your help again
