The IDK Wallet

Postby Bob Farmer » August 13th, 2023, 9:01 am

Saddle up kemo sabe!

It’s time to ride the lightning!

And the horse you be ridin’ to glory is Tony Miller’s IDK Wallet, the trick pony that makes the Himber, the Bendix, the Sho-Gun and the Z-Fold wallets as obsolete as the iPod classic.

Now the IDK wallet is resting but once opened it will unleash the impossible in ways never before seen, in ways reaching new heavenly levels of the diabolical.

• One, two or three signed cards (your choice) can appear within the wallet’s sealed compartment without any palming or sleight of hand.

• A signed card from a blue-backed deck appears in the wallet—but now with a red back.

• Predict one or two selected cards (your choice) before they are selected.

• Give the audience a chance to win your credit card under the fairest conditions possible but they fail (all under your control).

• After the spectator shuffles his own deck—but before he selects a card with the deck in his own hands—you have predicted that card. A brand new idea, so extraordinary, dark powers may be involved.

• Using poker chips, predict how much a spectator will bet and the card he will bet on.

• Use Mephistophelian new methods for the Koran Deck and the Koran 1-0-1 Deck and take both to new levels of deception and enchantment.

• Use a Ouija board to reveal a card or cards merely thought of.

• With the assistance of a Voodoo Queen’s photo, defy the laws of the universe and the forces controlling the roll of dice and predict a selected card.

Hiding in plain sight as an ordinary hip pocket wallet, the IDK Wallet is a wolf in sheep’s clothing ready to devour your audience in a tsunami of deception and mixed metaphors.

Why are you calling this a "Koran 1-0-1 Deck" when YOU discovered that Harry Lorayne invented it?

That is the way it is normally referred to. In the manuscript, I trace the origins and the arguments for Lorayne. I've sent you a hard copy along with the wallet so you can check it out.

I don't think you should perpetuate an incorrect credit. Simply call it the 1-0-1 Deck and leave Koran out of it.

For purchasers of Tony's older wallet, the Heart Attack Wallet: the IDK wallet is a much-improved version of the older wallet. Many of the effects, but not all, possible with the IDK wallet can be done with the Heart Attack wallet. Owners of the Heart Attack wallet can purchase the 177-page Bammo IDK Wallet Dossier from Tony for $35.

I've set up a page for the IDK Wallet on the Chamber of Wallets site
https://chamberofwallets.com/idk-wallet-by-tony-miller/

As more reviews come in I will be sure to add them. For the moment Magic Orthodoxy's review (which is on the page) is well worth checking out.

Thank you Neil.

Right now, all over the wallet world, you can hear the sounds of Himber, Shogun, Bendix and Z-Fold wallets being tossed in the trash. They have met their Waterloo and recognized their time has passed, their feeble designs once kings of the hill, now crushed by the IDK wallet's architecture and unlimited magic potential.

I have Tony Miller's Heart Attack wallet.

Just based on the single review and the description, I can not see a major difference between the wallets.

Is it possible for anyone to describe what those are?
Thanx

The major differences are these: the Heart Attack wallet has two indexes; the IDK wallet has one. This is better since the IDK wallet can display a bills section that appears to be simply that (no index in sight). The biggest and most important difference is that the IDK wallet has a direct connection to the sealed compartment from the index side so that a card can be made to appear in the sealed compartment.

Mr. Farmer, thank you for your response.
Interesting, my Heart Attack wallet sounds exactly like an IDK wallet.

I review the only visual source (magic orthodoxy) and it looks identical. The listed features are the same.

I can show the Heart Attack wallet empty (no index), I have access to a seal compartment, 11 pocket index with two dividers and Himber/shogun feature.

I believe I purchased it at the last Genii convention. So maybe it was a Heat Attack 2.0

Jergen, there were three versions of the HT wallet so you must have a later version.
