D. Robbins owns the rights and sells the 8 volumes of Tarbell Course in Magic.
How can one find the original illustrations? There are over 3000 of them.
Are the book illustrations the same as the original correspondence lessons?

I think Tarbell redrew everything for Lou Tannen when the Tarbell Course began.
Like most people, I'm sure Tannen threw the original drawings away once the books were printed.
