Bernard Reid's New Zealand history books available again

Postby Kent Blackmore » February 29th, 2024, 8:37 pm

I am very pleased to advise that with the approval of his executor, Bernard's books are now available to order from Lulu.com.

These include his four volumes of the "Magicians in the Golden Age of New Zealand Vaudeville" in hardcover and paperback, "Jon Zealando - A Magical Legend" (HC and PB) and a facsimile of Jim Reilly's booklet "Darling Jennie" (search on 'James V. Reilly).

Bernard's first work, "Conjurors, Cardsharps and Conmen" was published in an edition of 200 by Mary Egan Publishing; there are at present no plans to republish this volume.

Pricing has been calculated on a very conservative basis, and any small profits from sales will be directed to the children's charity VarietyNZ.
