Marvin's iMagic
I was wondering if Richard or anyone else might know when the magic set, Marvin's i-Magic, will show up in Costco? Currently I can only find a Fantasma set at Costco. I was hoping it would be there for Christmas. I would like one for my granddaughter. (and maybe one for me )

Bill, it appears that they're being distributed regionally--some stores get them, while others don't. Unfortunately it's not on their website, either.
You will be able to get the regular size set in time for Christmas when Murphy's gets their shipments in. It will cost $40 (before the inevitable discount). I think Penguin is going to carry it.
There's an overpriced one here in case you want to be certain:

I remember at one time there being quite a bit of intense rivalry, even animosity between Marvin's Magic and Fantasma. Not that I am one to gossip of course.

I checked costco in Simi Valley, no luck. If anyone sees one in the west valley (LA) or Ventura county, give a shout.

Penguin is selling the tin box version. I ordered the full set from one of the Amazon sellers at Richard's link above. Not cheap, but at least I have one on the way.

The regular set is in stock at Penguin now for $30.

The only difference between the two sets, aside from the fact that one is in a cardboard box and the other is in a metal tin, is that the cardboard box version contains the Morph Book (a three-way blow book with Augmented Reality images embedded), while the tin loses that and instead has a light-up thumbtip which does two tricks with the app.
