It really is about time Richard learned how to fan a svengali deck. He has been emailing me for the details and I tried to explain but alas he still can't figure it out even after purchasing my most wondrous "The Long and the Short of It" book which can be obtained here:

I suppose it is slightly awkward until you get used to it. You need a bit of strength in your fingers when you do it. Don't use a stiff or a new deck.
