It's TOO PERFECT (as said someone but I don't remember who!)

Hi Phillipe:
I may be misinterpreting your post, but I see no way this routine is too perfect.

I'm divided on the method, so I have to swap one of my ideas for another.
And if the routine seems too perfect, it's only because there are edits.

Re: Engblom Triumph
There are no edits to aid in the deception. (That's not how we do things on Fool Us.) That tricks looks exactly the same if you were sitting at the table with Christian. It is an exquisitely ingenious method, expertly performed. No logical explanation seems possible; no rationalized explanation satisfies. There's nothing "too perfect" about this.

This is simply to parody Rick Johnson.
I don't know how Engblom do it but it's a very good idea.

Re: Engblom Triumph
I didn't see the deck get squared and put into the box in the video. That was edited out.

Just to put your mind at ease, Richard. No deck switch; deck is examinable at the end.
Christian has sold this method for a number a years. It appears to be sold out everywhere right now.

I have studied that routine by Christian and it´s an beautiful routine that makes use of a couple of different principles.

Or, as with watching Fred Kaps do the Gypsy Curse for Hamman, something sneaky goes by un-observed.
Bravo and congrats!
Re: Engblom Triumph
The trick is fine. However, what impresses me is his command of the English language! A vaguely American accent too!

Re: Engblom Triumph
Great/baffling version of Triumph! Though presumably it relies on adding and ditching some sort of gimmicked cards. I also like his relaxed performance style.
And I just discovered that Engblom is the person who came up with the anti-faro too! (Which is not a move I've attempted to master, but would love to be able to do).

I remember Christian showed this and the story behind it at the 2015 Genii convention!

Mr Engblom’s solution to the challenge set by Señor Tamariz is an elegant one.
